The statute specifies an extra $200 fine for super speeders, but the total super speeder fine is not fixed, as speeding fines differ across Georgia counties and cities. Therefore, you’ll pay the standard speeding fine plus the additional $200.

This offense occurs when a driver attempts to evade a pursuing police vehicle by disregarding the officer’s signal to stop. The penalties for fleeing and attempting to elude shall be guilty of a felony punishable by a fine of not less than $5,000.00 nor more than $10,000.00 and imprisonment for not less than 12 months nor more than ten years.

Racing

Engaging in illegal racing, often referred to as “street racing,” is a dangerous serious driving offense in Georgia. This includes any form of unauthorized competition on public roads or highways. Any person with a racing conviction shall be guilty of a misdemeanor.

Aggressive Driving

Aggressive driving is defined as driving with the intent to annoy, harass, molest, intimidate, injure, or obstruct another person. Any person convicted of aggressive driving shall be guilty of a misdemeanor of a high and aggravated nature.
